Capt Don is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, whose life has always revolved around the ocean. He grew up fishing, surfing, and diving and has been a charter captain for many years, spending most of his life on the water. As host of the popular television show Hook the Future for the last 18 years, he shares his experience with the next generation. In Hook the Future, he takes kids fishing worldwide and enables them to experience world-class fishing at its finest while instilling our environment's values of being good stewards. Since 2005, Captain Don also hosts Kids Fishing Clinics at major boat shows and events across the Southeast, teaching thousands of families annually how to succeed in fishing while spending quality time in the outdoors with people you love.
