In 1979 inventor and avid sport fisherman Mick Rupp set out to design and manufacture an outrigger system that was easy to use and easy to service, his mission was to produce “the finest outriggers in the world”. Rupp Marine Inc. was founded a year later as demand quickly grew for his superior quality, user friendly designs. Rupp quickly became known as one of the world’s premier marine hardware manufacturers and one of the most recognizable and trusted brands in the sportfishing industry.
